Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains how the Google Sheets add-on Sheets 2 Calendar ("the add-on"), developed by Yeray García Quintana ("I", "me"), accesses, uses, stores and shares your data.
Summary
- The add-on runs entirely on Google's Apps Script platform under your Google account.
- Your spreadsheet contents and calendar events are only read and written inside your own Google account. They are never sent to me or to any third party.
- There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no external servers.
Google user data the add-on accesses
| Permission | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| See, edit, create and delete your spreadsheets | Creating and formatting the Events and Templates sheets, reading the rows you edit and writing imported events and results. Spreadsheets other than the one where you ran Setup are never accessed; the nightly template export opens that same spreadsheet by its ID. |
| See, edit, share and permanently delete all calendars you can access | Listing your calendars, reading events you choose to import, creating, updating and deleting events you export from the sheet, and reading your calendar settings (time format and default event length). |
| Allow this application to run when you are not present | Creating the triggers that react to the buttons in the sheet, refresh the sheet when it is opened, and export your templates every night. |
| Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications | Showing the add-on menu and short messages, for example when Setup is required. |
| View your country, language, and time zone | Formatting dates and times the way you expect. |
Data storage
- Your events and templates are stored only in your spreadsheet and your Google Calendar.
- The add-on stores a few technical settings with Google's Apps Script properties: the schema version of your spreadsheet (in the spreadsheet) and which spreadsheet each nightly trigger belongs to (in your user settings, as a spreadsheet ID).
- Error logs: if an error occurs, a technical error message is written to Google Cloud Logging in the add-on's Google Cloud project, which I can access. These messages contain error descriptions and stack traces and may include a spreadsheet ID; they do not contain event contents. They are used only to fix bugs and are deleted automatically after Google's default retention period (30 days).
Data sharing
I do not sell, rent, share or transfer your data to anyone. I do not use your data for advertising, and I do not use it to train AI or machine learning models.
Limited Use
The add-on's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing your data and revoking access
- Uninstall the add-on under Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons.
- Revoke its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. This also stops all of its triggers.
- The Events and Templates sheets and the events in your calendar are yours; delete them like any other sheet or event.
